Biography

Alexandra was born December 15, 1980 in La Jolla, California (USA). She started to play at a very young age and was coached (still is) by her mother Samantha. She also was coached by amonth others Peter Fishcer, Robert Lansdorp, Del Little, and Larry Easley.

Her tennis career took a whole different turn in the 1999 Wimbledon Championsips where she opened up millions of eyes making to the semifinals in her first presence there... Since then however, things have not been going very consistently for her. She relies on a big first serve and can do a lot of damage when she is on but has not been able to put more than a few consecutive wins lately. At then end of 2002, Alexandra went on a roll that took her in the top 20 of the WTA and gave good hope of seeing her use the tremendous potential she has been given.
