January 7th 2009: Meghann and James Blake represented USA but lost 2-1 in the Hopman Cup against Germany! Meghann lost 4-6, 6-0, 6-4 to Sabine Lisicki and James Blake won 7-6, 6-7, 6-4 against Nicolas Kiefer.. they also lost in mixed doubles...

January 5th 2009: Meghann and James Blake represented USA but lost 3-0 in the Hopman Cup opener against Slovak Republic! Meghann lost 6-2, 6-2 to Dominika Cibulkova and James Blake lost 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 to Dominik Hrbaty.. they also lost in mixed doubles...

December 8th 2008: Meghann will be replacing Serena Williams as she will play with James Blake in the Hopman Cup in January!

November 7th 2008: Meghann had to withdraw from the Auburn tournament because of an injury:(

November 6th 2008: Meghann won her 1st main draw match in the 50K Auburn tournament defeating Audra Cohen 6-3, 6-2

April 29th 2008: Sad news as Meghann lost her match today in the Prague, as she lost to Slovakia's Magdalena Rybarikova 1-6, 3-6.

April 15th 2008: Meghann was in action today but had to retire because of an injury while losing 6-3, 3-0 to Edina Gallovits.

December 31st 2007: Unlucky day for Meghann, she was up 6-0, 1-0 against Francesca Schiavone in Gold Coast, she suffered a knee injury and withdrew....

December 29th 2007: Meghann was in action as she and Mardy Fish won 2-1 against India. They won their singles matches (Meghann won 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 against Sania Mirza)..well done:)

December 26th 2007: Meghann will be in action in the Hopman Cup starting this weekend in Perth, Australia. She will replace Serena Williams in the USA's first match against India on Saturday as Serena is ill...

September 25th 2007: Unfortunately Meghann Shaughnessy suffered a 2 set loss in the FORTIS Championships Luxembourg   1st round, a 6-4, 6-1 loss.
