have been in the past and stay healthy, of course!

playing tennis actively?

some time not travelling and being home and then deciding what I want to
do.
willy: monica you live in Sarasota. How is your life in Sarasota?
[MSeles] It's great. I really enjoy the little time I get to spend there
with my friends. It's a very quiet life I enjoy there, with some very nice
beaches.

[MSeles] I really like the city and the site. It's beautiful there, and
you get some good practice in before Roland Garros. I like to visit the
museums here too.

time at the top

view it as hard work

injured, but definitely in the future - it would be great.
rythmfr: do you think women should gain as much money as men ??
[MSeles] Well, it all depends on how you view the game, whether it's on
time or quality. It's a debatable question
Ceph: Hi Monica, do u like this chat session? When will we have another
chance
[MSeles] This is my first time doing a chat - I'm enjoying it very much.
I'm not that computer literate, but I'm really liking this!
mishar Monica, you are the ideal sportswoman! How do you change your game
for the clay?
[MSeles] Thanks Mishar! I tried to stay more patient and add a little bit
more topspin to my groundstrokes so I don't make that many errors
ABrown1202: Was it difficult handling all of your success in the early
90's at such a young age?
[MSeles] Yeah, definitely. Everything came fast - all the attention and
pressure. It's very tough to deal with that when you're 15 or 16
ZcorpionTennis: Hi Monica, Thank you for your time! The tournament is in
Spain. Do you speak Spanish? You can write something for we?
[MSeles] Unfortunately not! But once I stop playing I would love to learn
Spanish and French

[MSeles] No, when I have my off time I like to stay in one place!
baptiste: And what about your french? i heard you get french lesson..
[MSeles] Yeah, I've taken some French lessons, but I haven't gone that
far! It's difficult when you only get the chance to speak it one or two
weeks a year
iban: which is your aim this year?
[MSeles] My aim is too stay healthy until the end of the season, play
consistently throughout the year.
Albert: Don't you think there are too much pressure between matches of a
tournament ? What do you do to relax after a match ?
[MSeles] I try to stretch and rest and go home and prepare for the next
match. During the big tournaments you don't get a chance to relax, but
thankfully there are only five tournaments like that during the year!
mishar: Do you ever watch videos of your opponents to prepare for a match?
[MSeles] No, not really.
[MSeles] Last question please
Floortje: Hi Monica, do you realise how many fans you've got?
[MSeles] I'm very fortunate and thankful for all the support I've had
through my good and bad times. It keeps me going all the time knowing
there are so many people behind me.
[MSeles] Thanks a lot everybody!
[MSeles] Bye bye!
