February 14th 2008: Monica confirmed she would not be able to return to action. "Tennis has been and will always be a huge part of my life," said Seles in a statement. "I have for some time considered a return to professional play, but I have now decided not to pursue that."

February 15th 2007: Monica will be playing a new exhibition on April 2nd as she'll face Martina Navratilova at the River Oaks Country Club.

August 15th 2006: In a recent interview, Monica gave some light about her foot: "My foot is not looking too good, to put it simply. Realityís coming in there. But Iíve been trying really hard in the last few years. Itís not as if, I guess, when youíre 20 or so for your body. In the next few weeks or a month, Iím going to decide one way or the other. But it doesnít look too good."
