January 13th 2005: Aranxta played but lost an exhibition match this weekend against Martina Hingis, an 8-5 loss!

January 8th 2005: In doubles, Svetlana and Aranxta won their opening match 8-3 against Maria Sharapova and Vera Zvonareva, they then lost 6-4, 6-0 against Venus and Serena Williams.
