Lisa was born August 10th 1973 in Norristown, Pennsylvania from parents Ted and Nancy. She has a younger sister, Stefanie, who is a social worker that works with teens. Lisa made her pro debut in 1989, in Wichita. That year, she also qualified for the US Open, losing in the second round. One of few with a classic serve-and-volley game, Lisa has always been a dominant force in doubles, being ranked the #1 team for a few years with Rennae Stubbs, from Australia. As of May 2003, Lisa had 38 doubles titles to go with her 4 singles titles, quite an amazing accomplishment!
