Highlights -She was the lowset ranked
player since 1989 to win a WTA Tour event when in 1999 as a qualifier she
collected the title in Palermo. -She won NEC World Youth Cup (U16) in 1997 ( Vancouver) with Elena Dementieva later that year Anastasia and Elena also reached U18 final ( ITF Connelly Continental Cup) in Delray Beach which they lost but they won the following year. -End of year ranks
