February 21st 2004: Maria did not win her first title today as she lost against Aussie veteran Nicole Pratt in the Indian Open final.

Februaury 20th 2004: Wow, another big upset as Maria had no problems posting a 6-3, 6-2 win over Tamarine Tanasugarn! She will face Nicole Pratt in the final tomorrow!

February 19th 2004: Nice win by Maria today, she defeated Angelique Widjaja in straight sets, she will now face #3 seed Tamarine Tanasugarn!

February 18th 2004: Maria won her second round match in India 6-2, 6-3 against Yuka Yoshida, her next opponent will be Angelique Widjaja.

February 17th 2004: Maria is now back in action as she plays in India. She won her first match 6-3, 7-5 against Uberoi, she will now face Yuka Yoshida!
