She won her first match 6-3, 7-6 against Brenda Schultz-Mcarth. July 27th 2008: Sad news as Alina lost her match today in the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank, Qualification as she lost to Britain's Melanie South 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. July 22nd 2008: Sad news as Alina lost her match today in the Los Angeles, as she lost to Russia's Nadia Petrova 6-0, 6-4. July 20th 2008: Alina was in action in Los Angeles qualifying, she won her opening match 6-4, 7-6 against A. Yelsey and then she won her 2nd match 6-1, 6-2 against Lilia Osterloh July 13th 2008: Alina was in action in Stanford qualifying yesterday, she lost to Samantha Stosur 6-1, 6-4:( July 7th 2008: Alina was in action in a 50K event in Boston last week. She lost her 1st match 2-6, 6-1, 7-5 to Chin-Wei Chan. June 18th 2008: Sad news as Alina lost her match today in the Wimbledon, Qualification as she lost to E. Hrdinova 7-6, 2-6, 5-7. June 17th 2008: Good news as Alina won her match today in the Wimbledon, Qualification as she defeated Hungary's Melinda Czink with a 7-6, 3-6, 6-2 win, she will now face E. Hrdinova.... October 6th 2007: Alina was in action in Moscow qualifying and won against Tatjana Malek 6-2, 3-6, 6-2... next up is American Lilia Osterloh September 24th 2007: Unfortunately Alina Jidkova suffered a 2 set loss in the Guangzhou International Women's Open qualifying 1st round, a 6-3, 0-1 loss. September 15th 2007: Alina played qualifying in Beijing but she lost today 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 against Iroda Tulyaganova.... August 27th 2007: Unfortunately Alina Jidkova suffered a 3 set loss in the US Open 1st round, a 0-6, 7-6, 0-6 loss. August 26th 2007: Alina was in action last week as she successfully qualified for the US Open main draw. First, she won 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 against Nika Ozegovic and then against Julie Coin 7-6, 6-4 and finally won her final qualifying match 6-2, 5-7, 7-6 against Su-Wei Hsieh.
