May 8th 2008: Good news as Jelena won her match today in the Berlin as she defeated Russia's Maria Kirilenko with a 6-2, 6-4 win, she will now face Elena Dementieva.

May 7th 2008: Good news as Jelena won her match today in the Berlin as she defeated China's Shuai Peng with a 7-5, 6-0 win, she will now face Maria Kirilenko or Nadia Petrova.
