June 27th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the Wimbledon 3rd round posting a 2 sets win against Australia's Samantha Stosur, a 7-5, 6-2 win. In the 4th round, Ana will face Venus Williams.

June 25th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the Wimbledon 2nd round posting a 2 sets win against Italy's Sara Errani, a 7-5, 6-1 win. In the 3rd round, Ana will face Samantha Stosur.

June 23rd 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the Wimbledon 1st round posting a 3 sets win against Czeck Republic's Lucie Hradecka, a 5-7, 6-2, 8-6 win. In the 2nd round, Ana will face Sara Errani.

June 15th 2009: Sad news today as Ana lost her match in Eastbourne losing in the 1st round 3 sets against Russia's Nadia Petrova, a 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 loss.

June 14th 2009: Ana decided to split from her coach after seeing things slide in recent months... “I’d like to thank Craig for all his hard work,” Ivanovic said Tuesday on her Web site. “He’s a great guy and I enjoyed working with him.”

May 31st 2009: Sad news today as Ana lost her match in Roland Garros losing in the 4th round 2 sets against Belarus's Victoria Azarenka, a 6-2, 6-3 loss.

May 29th 2009: Impressive performance today as Ana won her match in the Roland Garros 3rd round posting a 2 sets win against Czeck Republic's Iveta Benesova, a 6-0, 6-2 win. In the 4th round, Ana will face Victoria Azarenka or Carla Suarez Navarro.

May 27th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the Roland Garros 2nd round posting a 2 sets win against Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn, a 6-1, 6-2 win. In the 3rd round, Ana will face Iveta Benesova.

May 5th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the Rome 2nd round posting a 2 sets win against Italy's Francesca Schiavone, a 6-3, 6-4 win. In the 3rd round, Ana will face Agnieszka Radwanska.

March 29th 2009: Sad news today as Ana lost her match in Sony Ericsson Open losing in the 3rd round 3 sets against Hungary's Agnes Szavay, a 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 loss.

March 27th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the Sony Ericsson Open 2nd round posting a 2 sets win against Russia's Mariya Koryttseva, a 6-0, 6-3 win. In the 3rd round, Ana will face Agnes Szavay.

March 22nd 2009: Ana played in very windy conditions today and struggled with her serve, she eventually lost the final 7-6, 6-2 against Russian Vera Zvonareva...

March 21st 2009: Great news today as Ana won her match in the BNP Paribas Open semifinals posting a 2 sets win against Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, a 6-2, 6-3 win. In the final, Ana will face Vera Zvonareva. “I love coming here and the crowd has been great,” Ivanovic said in a courtside interview after wrapping up victory in 75 minutes at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. “I have really enjoyed this week and I look forward to the final. It’s going to be a tough match as she has been playing well,” she said of Zvonareva.

March 20th 2009: Yesterday, Ana did not have to play her quarterfinal match as her opponent Sybille Bammer was injured..! Ana advances to the semifinals where she will face surprise Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova!

March 18th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the BNP Paribas Open 4th round posting a 3 sets win against Italy's Flavia Pennetta, a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win. In the quarterfinals, Ana will face Sybille Bammer.

March 16th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the BNP Paribas Open 3rd round posting a 2 sets win against Argentina's Gisela Dulko, a 6-3, 6-3 win. In the 4th round, Ana will face Flavia Pennetta.

March 15th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the BNP Paribas Open 2nd round posting a 2 sets win against Belarus's Anastasia Yakimova, a 6-4, 6-3 win. In the 3rd round, Ana will face Gisela Dulko.

February 19t 2009: Sad news today as Ana lost her match in Dubai losing in the quarterfinals 2 sets against USA's Serena Williams, a 6-4, 6-4 loss.

February 18th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the Dubai 3rd round posting a 2 sets win against France's Camille Pin, a 6-2, 7-6 win. In the quarterfinals, Ana will face S.Williams or J. Zheng.

February 16th 2009: Good news today as Ana won her match in the Dubai 2nd round posting a 2 sets win against Russia's Alisa Kleybanova, a 7-5, 6-4 win. In the 3rd round, Ana will face U.Radwanska or C. Pin.

February 11th 2009: Ana has confirmed she would be changing coaches, her new coach is American Craig Kardon who has coached Lindsay Davenport, Mary Pierce and Jennifer Capriati among others. “I’m happy to begin working with Craig,” said Ana. “We’re going to see how it goes in the beginning and then I’ll make a decision about the longer-term future. I feel like I made good progress during the Fed Cup tie and I’m not so far away from finding my old form. Craig has a lot of experience, he encourages attacking tennis and I am hopeful we will achieve some good results together.”
 

February 8th 2009: Great news as Serbia concluded with a 4-1 win! First today, Jelena Jankovic defeated Ai Sugiyama 6-3, 6-2! Then, Ana defeated Ayumi Morita 6-1, 6-2!! Serbia lost the doubles but still advances to a matchup to play in World Group I next year...

February 7th 2009: So far so good as both Ana and Jelena won their opening matches giving Serbia a 2-0 lead over Japan! Ana defeated Ai Sugiyama 6-4, 6-4 and then Jelena won 6-1, 6-0 against Ayumi Morita!!!

February 6th 2009: Ana is teaming up with Jelena Jankovic in a most powerful Serbian team for this weekend's Fed Cup team against Japan!!
