December 6th 2001: Ashley and the USA team won their first two rounds at the Connely Cup as Ashleywas perfect in all her matches against Canada and Argentina..

December 9th 2001: Sadly, Ashley and the team USA was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Argentina despite her win in singles.. Then, they battled for the 5th to 8th place.. First, Ashley won her singles in a win over Slovak Republic. Finally, USA defeated Hungary to win that 5th place..again Ashley won her match making her undefeated in singles..
