August 20th 2008: Good news as Anna-Lena won her match today in the US Open, Qualification as she defeated Germany's Kathrin Woerle with a 6-3, 6-3 win, she will now face Kulikova.

August 17th 2008: Anna-Lena was in action yestrerday, reaching the final as she defeated Chanelle Scheepers 6-2, 7-5!! Then, Anna-Lena unfortunately lost in the final against Elena Bovina 6-3, 7-5:(

August 16th 2008: Anna-Lena was in action in a 50K event in Bronx, NY this week, she won her opening match 6-3, 7-6 against Ioana-Raluca Olaru. Then, she won 6-1, 4-6, 6-0 against Oxana Lyubtsova. Anna-Lena then reached the semis with a 6-3, 7-5 win against Ekaterina Ivanova.

August 4th 2008: Great news as Anna-Lena won the 75K Remini final yesterday as she defeated Lourdes Domingues-Lino 6-1, 6-2!!! Congrats!

August 3rd 2008: Anna-Lena continued her run, she won 7-6, 6-4 against Roberta Vinci to reach the final! She will now face Lourdes Domingues-Lino!!

August 2nd 2008: Anna-Lena continued her road, she won her quarterfinal 6-1, 6-4 against Woerle and will now face Roberta Vinci!

August 1st 2008: Anna-Lena won her 2nd match as well, she defeated Giulia Gabba 6-1, 6-3, up next will be Kathrin Woerle.
