April 22nd 2007: Kirsten was up to a very tough task as she led the Belgian team in this weekend's Fed Cup quarterfinal against the US. Kirsten lost her singles matches against Venus Williams and Vania King in what turned out to be a 5-0 loss....

March 5th 2007: Kirsten was in action in the Indian Wells qualifying event but she injured herself and withdrew while down 2-1...:(

February 26th 2007: Tough task for Kirsten as she will lead the Belgian team as they head to a Fed Cup meeting with the USA in April. It was confirmed today that Justine Henin and Kim Clijsters would not playing so Kirsten and Caroline Maes (229th) will lead the team against the Americans who will count on Serena Williams and Venus Williams.

October 31st 2006: Great news for Kirsten Flipkens as she won her 1st round at the Gaz de France Stars tournament. She posted a 1 set win against Elena Vesnina, a 4-0 win when her opponent retired...that now puts her up against Vera Zvonareva.
