Barbara Rittner def. Jelena Dokic(6) Indian Wells 2nd round 6-1, 5-7 and 6-3.

Jelena took the court wearing a white visor, red top and a white skirt. To be honest she looked completley lost in the first set hitting many unforced errors and losing 6-1. The 2nd set was pretty competitive as Jelena broke a few Rittner serves to win the set 7-5. The 3rd set was more domination by Rittner as she hit some great drop shots and won some great volleys to take the 3rd set 6-3. Hopefully Jelena can pull herself out of this little slump she has fallen into soon because I would hate to see her fall out of the top 10. Its not too often you see the 87th ranked player beat the 9th ranked player in the world and Jelena looked a bit upset as she should have.
