May 8th 2008: Good news as Elena won her match today in the Berlin as she defeated Russia's Vera Dushevina with a 7-5, 6-3 win, she will now face Maria Kirilenko or Jelena Jankovic.

May 6th 2008: Good news as Elena won her match today in the Berlin as she defeated Ukraine's Katerina Bondarenko with a 6-1, 6-2 win, she will now face Alisa Kleybanova or Vera Dushevina.

May 4th 2008: In another match, Elena defeated Agnieszka Radwanska 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 to reach the consolation final, where she also won, avenging her loss by defeating Marta Domachowska 6-3, 6-3!!
