2009-09-28: Kim cleared up her expected schedule for the 2010 season! Kim and her team have been working on her 2010 schedule. Next year Kim will be taking part in about 16 tournaments, the main focus lies with the Grand Slam ones: Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open. This year Kim will play the tournament in Luxembourg between 19 and 25 October. Besides the singles she will also play the doubles, together with Kirsten Flipkens. Next comes a long period of training, gearing up for the Australian Open. A first test will follow at the Thomas Cook Diamond Games in Antwerp on 9 December against Venus Williams. Kim's Australian tour starts on 3 January in Brisbane. After a recovery week the Australian Open follows. Next Kim will be part of the Belgian Fed Cup team, which plays Poland early in February. Kim then rests a while before participating in the Indian Wells and Miami tournaments. As a preparation on the French Open Kim only plays in Madrid. One more tournament might be added to the preparation. The period running up to Wimbledon is not clear yet either. Both Eastbourne and Rosmalen are an option. After Wimbledon another resting period follows and most likely after tournaments in Cincinatti and Montreal Kim will get ready for the US Open again, where she will be defending her title. Her tour in Asia starts in Beijing. Depending on the results Kim will also play the Masters in Doha. In 2010 Kim will play at the Thomas Cook Diamond Games in Antwerp again.
