May 5th 2009: Good news today as Elena won her match in the Estoril Open 1st round posting a 2 sets win against Russia's Alla Kudryavtseva, a 6-1, 6-3 win. In the 2nd round, Elena will face Sabine Lisicki.

May 4th 2009: Good news today as Elena won her match in the Estoril Open, Qualification quarterfinals posting a 2 sets win against Portugal's Michelle Larcher de Brito, a 6-0, 6-2 win. In the semifinals, Elena will face Eva Fernandez Brugues.

May 3rd 2009: Good news today as Elena won her match in the Estoril Open, Qualification 2nd round posting a 3 sets win against USA's Madison Brengle, a 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 win. In the quarterfinals, Elena will face Michelle Larcher De Brito.

August 21st 2008: Sad news as Elena lost her match today in the US Open, Qualification as she lost to Julia Schruff 6-2, 3-6, 1-6.

August 20th 2008: Good news as Elena won her match today in the US Open, Qualification as she defeated Australia's Monique Adamczak with a 6-1, 6-0 win, she will now face Julia Schruff.

August 17th 2008: Elena was in action yestrerday, reaching the final as she defeated Stefanie Voegele 6-4, 6-3!! Then, today Elena won the final as she defeated Anna-Lena Groenefeld 6-3, 7-5!!! Congrats elena:)

August 16th 2008: Elena was in action in a 50K event in Bronx, NY this week, she won her opening match 6-2, 6-2 against Yuliana Fedak and then won her 2nd match 6-4, 6-2 against Melanie Oudin. Elena then reached the semis with a 6-4, 6-2 win against Margit Ruutel.

August 13th 2008: Elena continued her road, she won 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 against Ana Vrljic and then 6-1, 6-0 against Stacia Fonseca to qualify for the main draw!

August 12th 2008: Elena was in action in a 50K qualifying event in the Bronx, she won her opening match 7-5, 6-2 against Julia Cohen.

July 28th 2008: Sad news as Elena lost her match today in the Nordea Nordic Light Open, Qualification as she lost to Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.

July 27th 2008: Good news as Elena won her match today in the Nordea Nordic Light Open, Qualification as she defeated Russia's Vesna Manasieva with a 6-3, 7-5 win, she will now face Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

July 26th 2008: Sad news as Elena lost her match today in the Portoroz, as she lost to Spain's Annabel Medina Garrigues 3-6, 2-6.

July 25th 2008: Good news as Elena won her match today in the Portoroz, as she defeated France's Camille Pin with a 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 win, she will now face Annabel Medina-Guarrigues.

July 22nd 2008: Good news as Elena won her match today in the Portoroz, as she defeated Ukraine's Tatiana Perebiynis with a 6-3, 6-4 win, she will now face Camille Pin.

July 7th 2008: Elena was in action in a 100K event in Tumeo last week. After qualifying, she defeated Maret Ani 6-3, 6-2, then Renata Voracova 6-1, 2-6, 7-5 and then she defeated #2 seed Mariya Koryttseva 5-7, 7-5, 6-1 but then lost her semifinal 0-6, 6-3, 6-3 to Tatiana Garbin.
