February 10th 2008: Mikhail was part of the Davis Cup team that defeated Serbia in this weekend's first round, a 3-2 win. Mikhail won his first match against Nenad Zimonjic then Nikolay Davydenko won his match against Victor Troicki. After a doubles loss by Mikhail and Dmitry Tursunov, Nikolay Davydenko defeated a less than 100% Novak Djokovic in 3 sets (he was trailing 2-1 but the Serb was injured)... Dmitry Tursunov lost the remaining match that was meaningless... next up for Russia will be Czeck Republic!
