May 8th 2008: Sad news as Nikolay lost his match today in the Tennis Masters Roma as he lost to Spain's Tommy Robredo 4-6, 6-2, 7-6.

May 7th 2008: Good news as Nikolay won his match today in the Tennis Masters Roma as he defeated Croatia's Mario Ancic with a 6-2, 6-2 win, he will now face Tommy Robredo.

April 26th 2008: Not sure what happened but Nikolay was not able to do much today, he lost 6-3, 6-2 against Rafael Nadal in the semifinals of Monte Carlo:(

February 10th 2008: Nikolay was part of the Davis Cup team that defeated Serbia in this weekend's first round, a 3-2 win. Mikhail Youzhny won his first match against Nenad Zimonjic then Nikolay won his match against Victor Troicki. After a doubles loss by Mikhail Youzhny and Dmitry Tursunov, Nikolay defeated a less than 100% Novak Djokovic in 3 sets (he was trailing 2-1 but the Serb was injured)... Dmitry Tursunov lost the remaining match that was meaningless... next up for Russia will be Czeck Republic!
