Born on January 13, 1982 in Rufino (Argentina), Guillermo Coria was taught to play tennis by his father Oscar shortly after he learned to walk. He turned Pro in 2000 and is a great, fresh player on the ATP tour ; his best surface is clay and he reached in 2003 the semifinals in Roland Garros. He also reached the quarterfinals in US Open, proving he's a very capable and versatile player, part of the "new generation" of tennis superstars. |
