Andy Roddick continued a successive win after Houston by defeating Britain's Greg Rusedski in two straight sets,6-4,6-2.

      The win didn't come in easy for Andy as he had to pass alot of tests posed by the Englishman who took the first game after a long battle over the deuce.

       Two aces from Andy put him back into the game at 1-1,but his happiness was short-lived as the games just kept moving between them.Finally,after 38 minutes,Andy took the first set 6-4.

        The second game was much easier for the American but Greg didn't give up that easily,he managed o win two games in the whole set but Andy took advantage of the 14 unforced errors Rusedski made and claimed the set 6-2.

        He will now face the winner of the Costa and former French Open champion Montanes in the second round.
