Well, next stop for Andy is Memphis, Tennesse, the state of all things Elvis!

 

 

Andy won this tourney in 2002, and was the runner up in 2003, and was in the QF last year!

Also in the draw are ~ Andys mates, Jan Michael Gambill and Mardy Fish, and Tommy Haas.

 

 

This tournament is held at the Raquet Club of Memphis.

 

 

It is the only tournament that is held indoor for both men and woman.

Andy is the no.1 seed for this tournament{ as we always expect!} and he will play the Korean Hyuing Taik-Lee in the first round.

Andy played him last week in San Jose and truimphed 62,36,63. He has an extremeley impressive 7-1 record against him.

I expect that Tommy Haas will be the second seed, Andy has a 2-4 record against him,{ tonight Andy will play him again so that will change before next week!} Although Andy has beaten him the past 2 times they have played!  Looking at the entrance list, its hardly possible to see how anybody will challenge Andy if he is playing his best tennis. He did however admit that the tour is taking its toll on him and he had to grind out quite a few times in San Jose!

 

 

Many people are still argueing that his change in coach was wrong, I am still to be convinced. I hope that Andy can win in Memphis.
