Hi everybody! Now that Fed Cup weekend is over, the Tour gets back to full force with events in Warsaw and Budapest. On a sad note, Emilie Loit will not be making a try for a third straight title as she had to withdraw from Budapest with injury. Another Fed Cupper had to withdraw as Paola Suarez' finger was injured. Enjoy Marion Bartoli's preview!

Shikha Uberoi versus Marion Bartoli

Marion Bartoli's year has been by far mediocre. After starting off the year with a bang and reaching the semis of Auckland she literally disappeared for about a month and a half until reaching the semis of Hyderabad before losing a tight three setter to eventual champion Pratt. Then Marion started her clay season with a 2nd round loss in Acapulco to eventual winner Benesova. Off to Casablanca went Bartoli, in search of some wins and she got them..in doubles. Bartoli won the doubles crown with Loit before travelling to Estoril and losing early there as well. So, by coming to Budapest Marion is wishing on a star that she performs decently. She is playing a huge unknown name in Uberoi so she has a good chance of winning. Look for Marion to play cautiously in the first few games to try and feel out Shikha's game. Afterwards she'll be ripping balls left and right.

Weakness: Lack of Confidence.

I honestly know nothing about Shikha Uberoi. The only glimmer of her I saw was during the Indian Open where she was in the qualifying and lost to her sister Neha in the final round. Other than that she is a complete unknown player to me. I think if Shikha really plays great ball she can challenge a down-hearted Bartoli. Bartoli hasn't had a good year and Uberoi could capitalize on that.

Weakness: A possible overhwelming byt Marion Bartoli.

Who has the Edge?

Serve- Bartoli
Groundies- Bartoli
Movement- Bartoli
Intangibles- Uberoi has no pressure
Volley- Bartoli

The stage is set for a Bartoli whitewash but don't count out the American. For Marion, try and come to net and take away the ground from Uberoi. For Shikha, make the best of this experience and hit away!

Matt's Pick: Bartoli will tear Uberoi apart 6-2 6-1.

Thanks
