Well, its that time of year again, it's the first Tennis Masters Series of 2004 in Indian Wells California! That's right, Andy is now heading off to the Californian desert to try and capture a 3rd TMS Title. Here I'll give you a brief run over of the tournament.

In last years tournament, Lleyton Hewitt defeated Gustavo Kuerten in the final 6161.
This year the draw has been extended to 96.

Draws
The womans draw will be released on Monday[8th March]
The mens draw will be released on Tuesday[9th March]

The total prize money for the tournament is $2,779,600[ATP only]

Here is the points/prize money breakdown for the tournament:

W        100                 $400,000

F          70                  $200,000

SF         45                  $100,000

QF         25                  $52,000

R16       15                  $27,000

R32        7                   $15,000

R64       1                    $7,500

Verdict on how Andy should play?:

Andy should be seeded #3 for the tournament. He should have a reasonably good draw until the r16/QF. I expect he may meet Roger Federer[seeded #1] perhaps in the SF. Although to be certain I really need to see the draw before I can comment any further.
